Allergy to metals
The most common allergy that can be cited among such is allergy to nickel, which is present in virtually all alloys of non-noble metals and sometimes in some low-gold alloys.

Nickel allergy is mediated by a type I hypersensitivity mechanism 4 with inflammation caused by direct mediator release by lymphocytes. The most common symptoms are the production of eczema in the area of contact with metals (jewelry, metal closures underwear, etc.)
The best defense is avoiding contact with these metals, and once appeared, with corticosteroids (steroids) applied locally in the short term. Although allergy symptoms go away and look forward, the nature of awareness is chronic, with periods of greater or less tolerance.
