Definition of vaginal mycosis
The vaginal mycosis, also known as vaginal candidiasis, are infections caused by fungi, mostly caused by the yeast Candida albicans, in the intimate area. This causes inflammation of the vagina. The thrush may also affect small and labia (external genitalia).
