Muscle CrampsPrevent muscle cramps can be really easy. As always, the effectiveness is not fully guaranteed, but chances are drastically reduced:

1. Regular exercise can help improve circulation

2. Stretch and preheat the muscles on a daily basis, eg every night before bed

3. Drinking eight glasses of fluid per day, preferably water.

4. Eating enough food rich in calcium and potassium such as bananas, orange juice, potatoes and fresh vegetables.

5. Avoid fatty and fried foods.

6. Wear elastic stockings during the day, especially when you have varicose veins.

7. Wear socks to bed at night can be very useful because it helps keep feet warm, thus the legs also tend to stay warm.

Facing A Muscle Cramp

After experiencing a muscle cramp, they really help take the following steps:

* When a cramp begins, you must force stretching the muscle. At first you may feel more pain, but after a while it will decrease. If one leg, lie down and ask someone to help, lift and straighten the affected leg, and ask the person that helps you take your foot and push the leg toward you, while you resists (not double leg ).

* Ask someone to rub the cramp, which will dampen the area and reduce pain.

* Soak the area with warm water

* If the cramp is in the leg, should try to stand and walk.

* Another alternative would be to apply a cream muscle relaxant.
