Meditation

The idea of meditation is to achieve maximum relaxation being aware. There are several techniques to achieve but all include focus the mind without dealing with distractions. Meditation has been practiced by many religions. It has now reached popularity with non-religious but to relieve stress and other health problems.
Different techniques:
The mantra is repeated continuously for a word or phrase that has a positive meaning for the person.
Focus on your breath: You think of a word that brings peace with each breath deeper.
Vipassana Meditation: You enter a state in which it is conscious but totally unconcerned with their thoughts and experiences.
Meditation with an object: It focuses attention on an object, such as the flame of a candle, sea, river, flower, etc.
When is it used?
To relieve stress and anxiety and lower blood pressure. It also helps get rid of addictions and promote personal development.
