Diabetes Regimen and Treatment

There are two types of diabetes and its difference is the dependence or not of insulin.
* Type I – Insulin Dependent (medicated with insulin)
* Type II – Insulin Independent

* All kinds of fruit.
* Vegetables in place of the grain.
* Up to 70 grams of whole grains per serving (size of a cup of coffee).
* Preferably bread and crackers and low fat.
* Crude oils.
* Sugar-free drinks, low calories. Low-calorie beverages must be consumed in a controlled manner.
* Avoid sugar, sweets, candy and confectionery, bakery kneaded. (All types of food with simple carbohydrates).
