The Garlic; Natural Medicine Cure Disease

The Liliaceae are monocots, cosmopolitan, comprising several thousand species.
Perennials usually a rhizome or bulb, especially in temperate countries (eg tulip, hyacinth, lily, onion, garlic, squill), they sometimes have a port of tree or vine in warm climates (eg : aloe vera, yucca, dragon).
The genus Allium includes several hundred species (eg leek, onion, spring onion) from the northern hemisphere.
Garlic is a perennial plant with small linear leaves and sheaths, probably originated in Siberia but cultivated from antiquity to the Middle East, Egypt, Greece and China. It adapts to all climates but provides the best crops in temperate countries. The bulb of garlic or garlic bulb is made up of many “bulbs” (or pods) joined together and surrounded by a whitish membrane.
This bulb has usually developed around a clove mother (or father) that has withered in the end of growth. Garlic is indeed reproduced very well vegetatively from a pod while it also has flowers, red or white, arranged in umbels and fully functional.
It is a very common plant food, a condiment marketed worldwide but also has pharmacological properties and therapeutic exciting.
